Leather - The preferred material for knee sliders is a very personal choice. Check out professional riders and you
will notice a good mix on plastic and leather going 'round the track. Leather sliders give a totally different feel to a
plastic slider, they sort of, scrrrrrushhshshhsshh along sedately. They give loads of feel and feedback. Some people
describe the feel and feedback as grippy but it is something frequent track riders should try. Get a good piece of
tarmac and just feel them glide along.
*One other frivolous, but important, point to mention about leather sliders is that they look cool as hell when they
have been worn through a bit and are all scorched, frazzled and the layers are exposed.

Beautifully made and beautifully expensive, these knee sliders are the most exclusive of ALL knee sliders. These were never intended to be sold, but were in fact originally made as a thank you to Niall Mackenzie in 2004. Since making those they have been asked by many customers who have seen them if they could buy some. These daddies of all leather sliders are left and right handed, they are made of several layers of leather and then they are sculpted by machine and by hand into this lovely globulous shape and then finished to a high polish. They are then painted, using 40 coats of paints and lacquer! All of this takes a long time, and is simply crazy as you are likely to just abuse them anyway, but don't they look good?
