The Florida Concealed Weapons Permit Badge can be used in many scenarios where the display of a firearm itself would be prohibited. Displaying the CWP badge, readily identifies yourself to law enforcement officers and other citizens as a civilian legally authorized to carry a concealed firearm. The Florida Concealed Weapons Permit Badge may be carried by anyone with a valid Florida Concealed Weapons Permit. This badge does not make the possessor, nor should it imply that the possessor, is in anyway associated with, or is law enforcement. This badge must be accompanied by the permit issued to you by the State.

When confronted by an armed assailant, one basic distraction technique is to throw loose cash or a money clip of cash (without your ID) away from your body. By throwing this in the opposite direction from which you can move or draw your weapon, you will buy yourself time to then make an appropriate defensive response.
When interacting with law enforcement of any kind, it is imperative that the concealed weapon permit holder identifies himself as such. Your goal should be to inform the law enforcement officer in a non-threatening way that you are not only a legally licensed firearms permit holder, but that you do have a firearm in your possession. One way to accomplish this is to present your ID (driver's license) along with your Concealed Weapons Permit. The wallets below offer a simple solution for presenting all of your credentials together. *Please note: the badge holders below are cut to fit only the CWP badge above or a Smith& Warren S155. If you need a badge holder to fit another badge, please contact us for a special order.
